As the holiday season unfolds, our school singers are honoured to have been invited to perform at various venues and events throughout Beijing to spread holiday cheer. Led by the choir leader, Mr Devreaux Poole, and Music Director, Mr Gordon Robb, our school singers enriched the Christmas Tree Lighting events at The Legendale Hotel, The Hong Kong Jockey Club and created a festive atmosphere at the British Christmas Market and the Czech-Slovak Advent Reception at the Czech Embassy.

Our dedicated singers performed a vast repertoire of traditional carols and contemporary favourites that resonated with the giving spirit of Christmas, ensuring there was something for everyone in the audience to enjoy. We are very proud of our soloists Olivia Jane Swift (Year 8), Cecelia Huo (Year 10) and guitarist Sasha Litvinskiy (Year 10) for their harmonious interpretations of a wide range of beloved Christmas songs including ‘White Christmas’ and ‘Merry Christmas Everybody’.

We look forward to more opportunities to spread the holiday cheer, share the joy of the season, and bring both performers and audiences together through music.
