Our talented students put on a spectacular performance of the beloved classic musical 'The Wizard of Oz' on the auditorium stage. In four sold-out shows, they took the audience on a spellbinding journey down the yellow brick road to the enchanting Land of Oz.
The auditorium buzzed with excitement as parents, teachers, fellow students, and friends gathered to witness the culmination of three months of hard work, dedication, and creative passion. While each member of this year’s musical troupe showcased their remarkable acting, dancing and singing skills, the collaborative effort of the cast and crew was evident in every aspect of the performance. The musical production was a magical experience that took the classic tale to new heights. The set design was meticulously crafted, special lighting effects were used to create a dazzling atmosphere, and the lead character, Dorothy, wore ruby red boots, which added to the overall charm of the show.
Let’s click the heels of our slippers (or boots) as we give a round of thunderous applause to the phenomenal and dedicated cast and crew of students. We also want to express our heartfelt thanks to the production team of Director Ms Setenay Agrali, Music Director Mr Gordon Robb, and Dance Choreographer Ms Li Shen.
This year’s musical troupe not only created a musical but also a magical memory that they will cherish for years to come, a testament to the transformative power and captivating energy of the performing arts within our school community.
The Director, Ms Setenay Agrali, about this year’s musical production:
“The laughter, the camaraderie and the shared moments of discovery have truly made this process a special memory for all involved. This journey has been a labour of love, a magical exploration and a shared adventure that has brought us all closer together. We are immensely proud of a production that reflects the hard work, creativity and passion of this extraordinary cast.”
