    • IG Chemistry with META-Enhanced Medicine Hospital Lab Excursion

A select group of our Year 10 students studying IG Chemistry and META-Enhanced Medicine attended an excursion to an international hospital, Raffles, Beijing. This excursion connected the Chemistry being covered through normal classes and the enhanced Chemistry from META with medical laboratories in hospital. The programme is designed to enhance the relevancy of the science within a medical setting, give real life practical applications to their learning and experiences that set our students aside for university study in a very competitive field.

      Y7-8 Musical Theatre Festival

The students of Year 7 and Year 8 have been celebrating the Performing Arts by taking part in the Musical Theatre Festival with our two visiting specialists for the YCYW Artist in Residence scheme: Allan Nazareno, a Musical Theatre Specialist from Hong Kong and Katherine Kam, a Dance Specialist from Shanghai. The three-day workshops have allowed the students to work in the Performing Arts, focusing on the skills of acting, singing, and dancing; to develop their innovation through prop design and theatre design competitions, and to showcase their collaboration and performance skills in extracts from Shrek, Aladdin, Wicked and Mamma Mia.
