    YCIS Illuminated the Prestigious AmCham China Annual Event

    YCIS Beijing students graced the stage at the AmCham China 2025 Annual Appreciation Dinner, sharing the spotlight with esteemed dignitaries including Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng, and United States Embassy Chargé d'Affaires to China, Sarah Beran. This grand occasion, attended by over 400 influential figures from the highest echelons of Chinese and U.S. governments, was elevated by the elegant brilliance of our students' performances.

     

     

     

    The evening commenced with a truly memorable performance by YCIS. The Secondary string trio, accompanied by our musician Mr Gordon Robb, infused the reception with an atmosphere of refined vibrancy and grace. Later, the opening ceremony embarked its moments featured the Primary Choir, conducted by Mr Devereaux Poole, delivering a deeply moving rendition of ‘Try Everything’ that resonated throughout the room and earned thunderous applause.

     

     

     

    These exceptional performances stood as a powerful testament to YCIS Beijing's unwavering dedication to nurturing talent and providing unparalleled platforms for student achievement. As a pivotal forum for strengthening U.S.-China ties, the AmCham Annual Appreciation Dinner offered YCIS Beijing a valued and honoured opportunity to demonstrate its commitment to fostering cross-cultural understanding and cultivating the leaders of tomorrow.
