YCIS Beijing Global Community Day is a day of unity and opportunity to embrace our diversity, share in exploration of global cultures and mindset, and strengthen our international school community. It signifies our commitment to charity and supporting initiatives we believe in, donating funds to causes that support children’s wellbeing.  

Our esteemed alumni, families, students, teachers, embassy and chamber community members all enjoyed participating in the action. Festivities showcased our creativity, diversity, and vibrant spirit.

YCIS Diversity

Parents hosted booths from across the globe featuring tasty culinary delights and activities for entertainment and prizes. Our community got to experience global cultures through cuisine. So many delicious and creative dishes were served, each with much thought and preparation.  Our parents and supporters are committed to our international school culture, and you can feel the dedication and appreciation of our multiculturalism.

YCIS Art 

Our talented YCIS student performances livened up the day with featured bands, dancers, and our primary choir. Talented members of our performing arts community offered continuous entertainment on the outdoor stage with instrumental, vocal, and dance performances that elevated everyone’s spirit. Global Community Day also featured our parent choir and entertainment from specialists.

YCIS Charity

This fun day would not be complete without the annual Fun(d) Run at the beautiful Honglingjin Park beside our campus. There were smiles all around at the park. Continuing our love for charity, all proceeds from the Fun(d) Run go to Love My Neighbour Charity Foundation.

YCIS Student Entrepreneurship

Our Primary students, alongside their teachers, featured their own fun at year group booths. The booth activities are a practice of their entrepreneurial skills, where they also embed the topics they covered in class. Through that, they showed their creativity with face painting, guessing the number, creating edible soil, football target shooting, and making sustainable bags! We are delighted with their initiatives that take learning beyond the classroom.
