    • First Day Back to School

The powerful energy of the upcoming Year of the Dragon was almost tangible as our students and teachers returned to campus full of enthusiasm after a refreshing holiday on 3rd Jan. Our learning spaces in ECE (Early Childhood Education), Primary and Secondary, were already bustling on the first day of the second semester with new courses, exciting challenges, and endless opportunities to learn and grow through reading and language learning, engaging math and science experiments, creative art and music classes, and physical activities. We look forward to all new learning endeavours and our students’ amazing achievements in the Second Semester at YCIS Beijing!

      Professional Development Day

On the previous day, our staff members were thrilled to attend the Professional Development (PD) Day. The day was kicked off with welcome messages from our School Leadership Team, followed by an inspiring speech from Dr Betty Chan Po-king, CEO and School Supervisor. Our teachers participated in valuable sessions and workshops, where they gained valuable insights to develop personally and deliver the best and most effective learning techniques to our students. One of the highlights was the ‘Long Service Award’ ceremony, which honoured our staff who have invested 5, 10, 15 and 20 years of service. Our Co-Principals, Ms Shelley Swift and Ms Jessica Sun presented the awards, expressing their gratitude for our staff’s continued service and dedication towards YCIS Beijing. This long-standing commitment is also a testament to our school's character. We are immensely proud to offer our students, teachers and extended staff an environment that adheres to the highest educational quality standards and provides endless opportunities for growth and success.

      New Student Orientation

The PD Day laid a strong foundation for our New Student Orientation, ensuring a warm welcome for new students on campus, who were greeted by their teachers and department heads for a smooth and promising start.
