Our YCIS Beijing teams put up a remarkable effort in the last round of Battle of the Books against other teams from international schools in Beijing. Their hard work and dedication earned both teams an impressive second place in the competition. A round of applause goes to the reading enthusiasts, in Years 7 to 9: Elise Friia, Maya Ondere , Jaydon Chieng, Malia Meng, Aicheng Xu and Hok Sum Chan.

Unfortunately, the following students couldn't participate in the final round due to a school trip, but they deserve our recognition for their effort in all previous rounds: Seia Boulton, Evelyn Wang, Wenle Wong, Charles Lin, Rachel He, Zoe Zdunek, Zara Zdunek and Daisy Lin .

We appreciate our students’ passion for competitive reading, and we are excited to welcome more passionate readers to participate in the BOB in the upcoming school year.
