On April 24th, our school welcomed a group of leaders from the Hong Kong office in Beijing to visit our campus. Working with our international and Chinese Co-Principals, the visiting leaders gained an in-depth understanding of our school's teaching, our learning communities, research and academics and student guidance. They left impressed, praising our school's educational philosophy and achievements.
During the campus tour, the Co-Principals introduced the Hong Kong office leaders to the school's history, faculty, and development plans as they visited our learning communities, laboratories, and other special facilities. Afterwards, the group discussed bilingual education and multilingualism, related programmes of study, as well as the situation for Hong Kong students and families in Beijing post-pandemic.
The visiting leaders had the opportunity to converse with YCIS-Beijing students that hail from Hong Kong and expressed their recognition and admiration for the school's innovative, international approach to education and its outstanding achievements.
This visit not only enhanced the cooperation between the school and the Hong Kong region office, but also provided important shared experiences for the future advancements of the school. We are confident that our school will continue to grow through any future challenges as we fulfill our school’s aim of developing outstanding, globally competent students.
