It has been a long anticipated and well-deserved celebration for Yew Chung International School of Beijing (YCIS Beijing), as we continue to add to more than a decade of graduates with a 100% IB pass-rate. Our Class of 2021 graduates brushed aside all obstacles and blazed a trail to reach a historic milestone of outstanding International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) results! It is a day of rejoice and applause to our students and teachers. They have demonstrated resolve, determination and ingenuity in an extraordinary two-year journey, staunch and steady amidst the vagaries of the pandemic, social situations and hybrid learning.

Some of our top scoring students have begun with us from Primary years, proving the benefit of a through-train education at YCIS Beijing. From perfect scorers achieving straight 7s to an average of 35.7 points and 67% of candidates attaining the extremely demanding and prestigious Bilingual Diploma, the results have reinforced our mission to raise graduates with a deep respect for and understanding of world cultures, mastery of Chinese and English, as well as a strong commitment to meeting challenges of the 21st century.

We are sending our best wishes to the Class of 2021, as this cohort advances to first choice and reputable universities locally and abroad. We welcome them as Yew Chung and Yew Wah Alumni and we are confident in hearing how our alumni continue to make an impact in their community and in their areas of passion around the world.
