Last week, our Yew Chung International School of Beijing (YCIS Beijing) athletes competed in a sports tournament conducted by the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA). Our students competed in a number of events, including track and field, football, and basketball, and took away individual and team awards in many of them!

In athletics, Sofia Ouyang received two silver medals, one in each of the 100 and 200 meter girls’ races, while Luca Fitzpatrick and Kevin Park added bronze showings in the 1500 and 100 meter races, respectively. Additionally, the boys’ football as well as the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams all finished with bronze medals after a number of close and competitive games.
