    • Term begins in just over two weeks and we will be welcoming many new families to the school. For some, it will be their first time living in Beijing and even away from home. Yew Chung International School of Beijing’s community of staff, teachers, existing families and students are here to help with the transition and to make the start of term and exciting and happy time.

      New Student Orientation Day

Friday 17th August is Orientation Day for new families. This is an opportunity to apply for school services such as school bus transport, car permits, walking permits, and top up lunch cards, collect uniforms and more. The day tends to be very busy, so returning families are advised to visit the school in the days prior to the 17th to ease queues for our new parents and students. To sign up for Orientation Day, please click here

      The Welcome BBQ

Every year we host a welcome barbecue for all our students and families. This year it will take place on Friday 14th September. Please join us for an evening of delicious food, games, activities and live entertainment, and a chance to meet with new and returning families. To sign up for the Welcome BBQ, please click here.

      Read our Student Guide Book

Our Year 3-5 students have been busy compiling a list of recommendations for new families joining YCIS Beijing. Click here to read more about their favourite places, activities and restaurants around Beijing. You’ll soon find your weekend is filled with things to do!

      Follow Us on WeChat

Every week we publish stories, updates and pieces of news from around the school on our WeChat. To hear about what our students and staff have been up to, scan the QR code to follow us on WeChat!

      Meet the Admissions Team

Our Admissions Team know that moving to a new city can be daunting. Every year, they welcome new families in, help them settle into the school and city, and offer advice wherever possible on things that fall outside normal school life – such as summer camps and sports clubs.

Come and say hello to Peter, Sara, Angela and Andrea – whose office is located on the Ground Floor of Building A (just beyond reception). They will be glad to chat and offer a helping hand.

Everyone at YCIS Beijing is looking forward to meeting our new families andfriends, welcoming them into our ever-growing community and showing them whatmakes our school so special. Here’s to an exciting year ahead!
