Overview

YCIS Beijing opened in 1995 with the aim of bringing the educational philosophy, objectives and pedagogy of Yew Chung to Beijing's expatriate families. Over the past 20 years, YCIS Beijing has grown rapidly and now has a student body of over 800 who come from over 45 nationalities. The international curriculum is taught by teachers from 30 countries, nurturing truly global-minded students. 

YCIS Beijing is a fully accredited school recognised by the Council of International Schools (CIS). 

In addition, the Secondary School is authorised as an accredited Cambridge International Examinations Centre and International Baccalaureate World School (IB World School). 

As an IB World School, we proudly offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) as a part of our international curriculum. Furthermore, we are the only school in China to have received the Cambridge Award for Excellence in Education.
