Air Aware! How to Guarantee Fresh Air at Home
Fresh air is a priority at Yew Chung International School of Beijing. We have an integrated fresh air system and monitor our AQI daily. In addition, we recently completed our programme of air quality tests in Building G following the Learning Community renovations. We are pleased to share that our air quality fell well within national standards on all counts. We ask the experts from Pure Living, who conducted the tests, to explain more – and what you can do at home.
Our Secondary Wellness Project Kicks-Off!

Secondary Students Dive In!
Students in Year 6-8 have dived into their six-week swimming programme this semester. Lessons will cover all aspects of swimming – including perfecting technique and setting time goals. We discuss swimming at Yew Chung International School of Beijing with P.E. teacher Mr Matt McEwan.
How Do we Group Students in the Learning Communities?

Welcome Back to YCIS Beijing!
The school sprung back into life this week and lessons are in full swing. After our three-week Christmas break it is lovely to see lots of familiar faces back on campus. We are also delighted to welcome 28 new students this week who are joining across ECE, Primary and Secondary. For some, it is their first time in Beijing so please join us in making them feel welcome in our school and city.
