  • Chefs’ Hats Are on at YCIS Beijing Summer Camp

    Food, just like music, has the power to unite people in a way that nothing else can. It has been evident in the YCIS Beijing Primary Summer Programme cooking classes, which are 50-minutes sessions led by Ms Freda Humber, Drama Teacher and Bethany Adams, Year 1 Teacher. Both teachers opted to teach a cooking class based on several reasons. The motivation for both, however, was to develop students’ confidence working in the kitchen, introduce them to different flavours and acquire other skills while enjoying their creations.

  • Meet our New School Vice Principal

    As announced by our CEO and School Supervisor, Dr Betty Chan , before the end of the last semester, our former Vice Principal, Head of Primary School, Mr James Sweeney, has been appointed as the new School Vice Principal on the School Leadership Team (SLT) at Yew Chung International School of Beijing. Starting from August 1st, Mr Sweeney will be working together with his fellow SLT members, Dr Rae Wang and Ms Fanny Du, to oversee the smooth running and continual enhancements of our Honglingjin campus.
