Experiencing China

The aim of the Yew Chung International School of Beijing’s quality international education is to nurture global citizens and lifelong learners, and to provide as many options for further studies as possible. Whilst the academic programmes are an internationally based curriculum, they allow for teaching to be placed in a localised context, making it relevant to different regions. The Experiencing China programme provides opportunities for Secondary students to gain insights into Chinese history and culture by visiting various parts of China. This programme broadens students' understanding of their host country and leads to increased cultural respect as well as developing a sense of purpose in their own lives.

Past locations include Qingdao and Mount Tai, Wuzhen Town, Yellow Mountain, Xi’an, Inner Mongolia, Guilin and Yangshuo and Haerbin.
