The After School Activities (ASA) programme at Yew Chung International School of Beijing has been developed to meet the varied interests of students in Years 1-13.
Two cycles of ASA are offered every year in Term 1 and Term 2 allowing students to experience a wider range of learning experiences. ASA are offered on either Tuesdays or Thursdays from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. and additional buses will be provided to transport students home afterward.
ASA vary from term to term depending on availability and popularity. Most clubs are free to join but some clubs require a small fee to cover the cost of materials.
The Secondary Section has four clubs that run throughout the year: Global Issues Club, Model United Nations Club, Speech and Debating Club and Scholars Cup group. Students from all year levels may join these groups.
