At YCIS Beijing we are committed to a well-rounded, global education. The YCIS Beijing Scholarship Programme is more than merely an offer of financial assistance to a student. Above all, it recognises the achievements of students and is part of the hallmark of excellence and leadership that is fostered among our student body. Past scholarship recipients have been outstanding students displaying the best of what the YCIS Beijing programme has to offer international students.

YCIS Beijing awards Music Scholarships and Overall Achievement Scholarships each year for Secondary students (Years 7-13) who show outstanding achievements in the areas of overall academic skills, character formation and music.

Scholarship amount: The monetary value of the scholarship will be for a portion of and up to the full value of the annual tuition fees for the year level applied for.

Who can apply?

Scholarship applications will be accepted for students outside YCIS Beijing as well as students already enrolled in the school. Students are expected to display a high level of dedication and commitment as well as academic ability. Students applying for the Music Scholarship should have passed Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (or similar Examination Board or repertoire) Grade 4 or above or equivalent.

How to apply?

Current YCIS Beijing students: Current YCIS Beijing students wishing to apply for a scholarship should collect the appropriate application form from the School Office. Please submit the completed scholarship application form to the School Office by 2 pm Friday March 11, 2011. We recommend early application.

New Applicants to YCIS Beijing: External students wishing to apply to YCIS Beijing for a scholarship should contact the Head of Admissions, Mr. Paul Murphy, at enquiry@bj.ycef.com or (8610) 8585 1878.

In addition, external students would also need to complete the YCIS Beijing school application form for admission to YCIS Beijing. Please submit the completed scholarship and also admissions application forms to YCIS Beijing Admissions Office by 2 pm Friday April 15, 2011. We recommend early application.
