The Yew Chung International School of Beijing (YCIS Beijing ) offers comprehensive services that make life simpler, safer and healthier for students. These services ensure that students concentrate on studies and give parents the peace of mind that their children are taken care of to, at and from school.
Health and Safety
On-site healthcare is provided by a full-time nurse who performs first aid and deals with minor injuries or illnesses. In cases of emergency, parents are informed immediately. We also provide 24-hour on-site security guards for a safer school environment and all visitors are required to register at the gate. Parents can rest assured that their children are in safe hands throughout the day, everyday at YCIS Beijing .
Meals
Students may bring their own lunch or choose to have a tasty and healthy lunch provided by certified professional caterers. On the Sodexo website www.SodexoEducation.com you can also view the YCIS monthly menus. Once you are on the website, select "China", then "Beijing", and finally "YCIS".
Transportation
For parents, having to drive their kids to school and then commute to work may be a serious time burden. YCIS Beijing provides an extensive bus service in and around Beijing to take one more chore off a parent’s hands. Buses are for K3 children and above. Children below K3 must be accompanied by a guardian to and from the school bus.
School Uniform
A school uniform is an important feature of YCIS Beijing . The school believes that wearing a school uniform helps unite children, develops confidence, and builds a sense of school pride. Therefore, all students are required to wear the approved school uniform every day. One full uniform set is included in the school fees.
